Dr. Joe Pirozzolo has had a passion for sports since Tee-ball. After playing varsity baseball and golf at The Woodlands College Park High School (The Woodlands, TX), Dr. Pirozzolo played college baseball at St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas. He finished up his college career at St. Edward’s with an All-Conference Team selection and a trip to the NCAA Division II College World Series in his senior year.

Dr. Pirozzolo’s experiences as a student athlete and curiosity about the human mind led him to study learning and cognition in graduate school. Dr. Pirozzolo received a PhD in Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience from the University of Houston. His graduate research focused on applications of theories in learning and memory and the science of skill acquisition and expertise.

Dr. Pirozzolo is Certified Mental Performance Coach (CMPC) through the Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP). While Dr. Pirozzolo is based in Texas (Austin/San Antonio/RGV), he works with clients throughout the United States (and internationally too)!
